At a very early age,he grew up to chants of divine mantras and very soon started reciting mantras and Vedas effortlessly while working alongside his father. But as he grew up, and after finishing his SSLC, he did not want to follow his father’s footsteps and become a Priest. He wanted to try his hand at wireman’s or engineering studies. But his father, who later became his Guru, said to him that he would be only doing something in future what is fated which is to walk on the path of Spirituality. Being an obedient son, he conceded to his father’s wish. During that period, in his dream Sri Saibaba gave him His Divine Dharshan continuously for three days. Although he was attracted to Nityanand Baba and Dattaguru, and while worshipping them, he had no inkling of the existence of Saibaba who was Himself the Avatar of Dattaguru. Hence to him, it was miracle that he had the vision of Saibaba in his dream.
In 1987, on an invitation of a one his friends who was a Priest in Vartak Nagar Saibaba Mandir, Thane, he visited Vartak Nagar. Due to some reason, he stayed back and got the opportunity to do Aarti and worship of Saibaba. It was a very strange experience for him as he was totally mesmerised by Baba which compelled him to stay back. A few days after that he tried to go back to Ganeshpuri, but his father sent him back saying that this was his Divine Calling that he has waiting for all along. On his return, from the same day, he was retained as the Priest at the Saibaba Temple. And after 3 years, he became and continues to be the Head Priest at Vartak Nagar Saibaba Temple.
